Modigliani for Kids 12th of February 2018 11-1pm
All children 5-11 years old are invited to participate in one of the most memorable art exhibitions of the 20th century at Tate Modern’s comprehensive retrospective of Modigliani’s work.
Children will learn about Modigliani unique and instantly recognisable pictorial style, his life and his lesser-known but radical and thought-provoking sculptures.
We will discover his portraits of his friends, lovers and supporters, including Pablo Picasso, Diego Rivera and his partner Jeanne Hébuterne.
The tour involve discussion, drawing and sticking in our unique activity books designed especially for this exhibition.
Museum Trips are designed to be enjoyed by children 5-11 years old. We can not accept any younger children to participate in our events because the length of the tour and activities involved might not be suitable.
Museum Trips are designed for your child to participate independently and don't require parental supervision. Adults can arrange to visit the exhibition by booking their ticket directly from the museum.
Our guided tours are 2 hours long and involve art activities, discussion and other tasks. Each child receives a bespoke activity book filled with tasks, challenges and information about the artist designed by Imagine Art Club. All art materials and supply are provided by our dedicated staff. All tours are delivered in small groups of up to 12 children with the support of 2-3 educators. This allows all children to get involved and receive individual attention.
All of our educators and volunteers hold an Enhanced DBS check.
