Impressionism for Kids 17th of December 11am-1pm
The exhibition Impressionist in London at Tate Britain presents captivating works by the most famous artists such as Monet, Tissot, Pissarro, Sisley as well as those less well known such as Giuseppe de Nittis.
Children will learn about the movement, discover places in London painted by famous artists and compare views of the Thames created by Claude Monet during three consecutive winters between 1899-1901.
The tour involve discussion, drawing and sticking in our unique activity books designed especially for this exhibition.
Museum Trips are designed to be enjoyed by children 5-11 years old. We can not accept any younger children to participate in our events because the length of the tour and activities involved might not be suitable.
Museum Trips are designed for your child to participate independently and don't require parental supervision. Adults can arrange to visit the exhibition by booking their ticket directly from the museum.
Our guided tours are 2 hours long and involve art activities, discussion and other tasks. Each child receives a bespoke activity book filled with tasks, challenges and information about the artist designed by Imagine Art Club. All art materials and supply are provided by our dedicated staff. All tours are delivered in small groups of up to 12 children with the support of 2-3 educators. This allows all children to get involved and receive individual attention.
All of our educators and volunteers hold an Enhanced DBS check.
